Following the announcement of the strike action after the ASUU emergency meeting held yesterday, students who stood attentively close to the venue of the meeting took to the streets of the campus protesting this decision.
The protest which was relatively peaceful was also restrictive. The Vice Chancellor, Chairman of Council and other university lecturers were all confined within the school environment.
The management headed by the school’s Vice Chancellor addressed the protesting students. We’ll bring you a full report on this in a following update.
